Gethin Jones is a Welsh TV and radio broadcaster whose career began by chance on S4C. After three years of hosting various live shows, he joined the popular children’s TV show Blue Peter.

While on Blue Peter, he broke four world records, completed three life-threatening tasks, and flew with the Red Arrows. Gethin visited 32 countries and took on extreme challenges. His most notable achievement was being the first civilian to complete the UK Royal Marine Commando 30-mile Yomp.

From one extreme to another, just months later, Gethin Jones danced his way to the semi-finals of BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing. Since then, he has continued with the show, presenting Dancing with The Stars All Access in the U.S. and It Takes Two on BBC2.

He has hosted several high-profile shows, including 71 Degrees North and four series of BBC1’s Remembrance, filmed in the heart of Afghanistan’s Green Zone.

A self-proclaimed rugby enthusiast, Gethin presents rugby shows and has even showcased his expertise on Celebrity Mastermind.

In addition to his broadcasting career, Gethin runs an events company, is a partner at Leaf Hospitality, and has launched a fitness app called Unifi.

Motivated by his autistic nephews, Gethin and his friend Sion founded an autism charity called Nai—the Welsh word for nephew. The charity offers seminars for parents and provides vital equipment for autistic children. Its aim is to build a much-needed school for autistic children in Wales.
