Widely recognised for her extensive career spanning over two decades in news broadcasting, Liliane Daoud is also an accomplished trainer, educator, communications strategist, and live host. Between 2002 and 2004, she served as a communications strategist for the Associated Press, developing and implementing effective communication frameworks to enhance internal and external messaging for operational teams.
As a news anchor, Liliane delivers compelling content across various formats, including talk shows, news bulletins, and interactive broadcasts. Beyond her on-screen presence, she also contributes strategic input to digital media development, helping to broaden audience engagement and strengthen online reach.
Currently working as a freelance trainer and advisor, Liliane delivers advanced training courses in media relations and strategic public affairs, offering instruction in both English and Arabic. She provides coaching and consultancy services designed to empower individuals and teams to master media presentation and engage confidently in public discourse. She has also hosted public events and panel discussions. Notably, she founded the ONA Academy for media training—the first institution of its kind in Egypt—focused on equipping journalists with presenting skills and upholding journalistic ethics.
Her distinguished journalism career includes work with prominent broadcasters such as the Arab News Network, The Associated Press, BBC World Service, ONTV, and Alaraby TV Network.
Throughout her career, Liliane Daoud has conducted on-screen interviews with reporters and editors, reported live from the field on key political developments in the UK, and covered topics including homelessness, open markets, cultural institutions, and public festivals. She has fronted live programmes on BBC XTRA radio and travelled extensively across the UK and the Middle East to produce thematic programming, including coverage of the 2008 US elections.
