Mark Barton was one of the founding journalists for Bloomberg TV’s European operations in 1995, playing an integral role in establishing the channel as the influential global business news network it is today.
Mark has covered some of the most significant global business, economic, and geopolitical events of the past two decades. His reporting spans six U.K. general elections, six U.S. elections, the global financial crisis, and Brexit. With over 10,000 interviews conducted, he has spoken with world leaders, finance ministers, central bankers, and top executives, including Bill Gates, Shimon Peres, and Jean-Claude Trichet.
On radio, Mark Barton has hosted Daybreak Europe on Bloomberg Radio and delivered financial bulletins for NPR (U.S.), LBC Radio (U.K.), Jazz FM (U.K.), and Riviera Radio (France).
