As a senior anchor for Al Jazeera English, Shiulie was instrumental in launching the international channel from Qatar in 2006, helping it reach over 200 million homes. She has reported from conflict and disaster zones worldwide, covering significant events such as the Kosovo War, the Asian Tsunami, the Arab Spring, the capture of Osama Bin Laden, and the death of Nelson Mandela.

As one of the leading anchors of TRT World globally, she played a key role in establishing TRT’s London bureau for television and radio and currently hosts the network’s flagship nightly news hour.

She has moderated high-level discussions at the United Nations and the World Health Assembly. She has presented conferences for numerous international businesses across the finance, health, energy, and construction sectors.

In her spare time, Shiulie writes fiction and is a published author.
