Beth has always been deeply interested in social and political news, a passion that began with her Social and Political Science studies at the University of Cambridge and an MA in Latin American Studies, Economics, and Development Studies from the University of London. She began her journalism career at The Financial Times, where she spent 13 years and rose through roles such as Hedge Fund Correspondent, Consumer Industries Editor, and Deputy Political Editor. After a brief stint at The Times as Media Editor, she covered major events like the financial crash, general elections, and the Scottish independence referendum.

Beth transitioned to television in 2016, joining Sky News, now serving as Political Editor. She frequently shares her expertise across platforms, contributing to The Andrew Marr Show, Good Morning Britain, Have I Got News For You, and more.
