Elspeth Pridham is a design journalist with over 25 years’ experience writing and speaking about interior design, craft, architecture, business development, and the workplace environment. She has been a freelance contributor to a variety of consumer magazines and recently as the Editor of Studio, the business-to-business title. Elspeth Pridham is a confident character on camera and has filmed a number of interviews for use as digital content, including conversations with fashion designer Henry Holland, sound artist Yuri Suzui, and a curator at The Design Museum.
She is comfortable in front of a camera, and she aims to make her interview subjects as relaxed as possible so they can generate interesting and enjoyable results.
She has also hosted live events such as seminars and Q&A sessions on the stage at numerous industry events, including Decorex, Clerkenwell Design Week, Design London, Focus, and London Design Week.
She has also moderated talks for showroom events and clients, including John Cullen Lighting, The British Institute of Interior Design, West One Bathrooms, Romo Fabrics, Wagstaff, Business France, and Design Centre Chelsea Harbour.
Whether it is for a panel discussion on the stage, an intimate on-to-one on the sofa or a product launch in the showroom, Elspeth thoroughly researches her panellists and the topic in advance of the event so that every discussion runs smoothly with equal time allocated to every guest.
