Waseem Mirza is a British screen actor, television presenter and keynote speaker whose work sits at the intersection of science fiction and real-world technology. A former BBC News technology presenter and reporter with nearly two decades in broadcast journalism, he brings a strong grounding in communicating complex subjects clearly and accessibly. As an actor, Waseem recently appeared as the UK Newsreader in The War Between the Land and the Sea, the Doctor Who spin-off created by Russell T Davies for BBC Studios and Disney. His screen credits also include ITV’s Emmerdale and Pennyworth: The Origin of Batman’s Butler, reflecting a range that spans both established British television and major international productions.
