Pip Tomson discovered her passion for journalism early, training at 18 and joining Express & Star in Wolverhampton. By 23, she became chief reporter and later freelanced for publications like Daily Mail and Sunday Sun.

Pip’s TV career began in 2002 with ITV’s Central News. She later presented regional news in the North East and weather on GMTV. She worked on Daybreak and as a reporter for Sky News, returning to Daybreak, which became Good Morning Britain in 2014.

Pip embraces challenges like charity treks to Everest Base Camp and Mount Kilimanjaro, skydiving, and bungee jumping. She also regularly runs in the Great North Run.

She supports Cash for Kids, Someone Cares, and other causes, including the Tsunami Fundraising Charity and Bryson’s Animal Refuge. Pip also rescued two dogs from the South Korean dog meat trade and investigated the industry with Simon Cowell and Humane Society International.

In 2022, she launched The Petcast, focusing on the stories of people rescuing pets from Ukraine.

Furthermore, Pip is an accomplished host of corporate and charity events where clients have included MasterCard, You Magazine, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Power of One animal welfare charity.
